Information request and response under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002.
Information requested
Under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act, can you please provide me with recent comparable figures - average daily recorded accesses via pass swipes for Atlantic Quay, Victoria Quay, St Andrews House and Saughton House for early to mid December - or for the most recent dates for which you have comparable data?
Response
For those buildings where there are swipe card systems in place at entry points, namely Atlantic Quay, St Andrew’s House, Saughton House and Victoria Quay, in the week commencing 12 December, 2022 average daily recorded accesses via pass swipes were 1147, (this compares to 252 average daily accesses in the same period in 2021). Please also note that Atlantic Quay was closed to all but essential staff for two days of this five day reference period due to building repair work, thus reducing the overall average slightly. This data includes employees, contractors, tenants, and catering staff. This compares to 5242 attendees for the same buildings as at 10 March 2020 to give an approximate pre- Covid comparison.
