Information requested

• The 2021 results of the People Survey for the Directorate for Local Government and Housing.
• Where they exist, the 2021 results of the People Survey for the Units and Divisions within Directorate for Local Government and Housing.
• The template questionnaire for the 2022 People Survey.
• The date at which the Scottish Government expects, or has otherwise been advised the UK Government, will lift the embargo on the 2022 People Survey results.

Response

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance we are unable to provide some of the information you have requested. This is regarding the 2021 results of the People Survey for the Directorate for Local Government and Housing that was not formed until the 1 May 2022 following a restructuring of the DG Communities family. The Local Government and Housing Directorate was formed after the 2021 People Survey had taken place. Consequently, this information is not held and this is a formal notice under Section 17(1) of FOISA that the Scottish Government does not have this element of information you have requested.

I do however enclose a copy of the template questionnaire for the 2022 People Survey you requested. This is provided in a pdf format and supplied by the UK Government.

Finally, in response to your question as to when the Scottish Government expects or has been advised that the UK Government will lift the embargo on the 2022 People Survey results. The UK Government has advised that no date has yet been set however, it would hope this would have taken place by the end of March 2023. When this does take place, publication of the CS benchmarks and 102 organisations scores will be placed on the GOV.UK website.
