Strategic Commercial Assets Transparency Assurance Panel
Overview
This group was established in September 2025 to provide an additional layer of assurance to the Strategic Commercial Assets Division (SCAD). It reviews decisions to publish commercial advisory reports relating to strategic commercial assets
The panel reviews information which has not yet been published and makes recommendations which account for the Scottish Government’s Open Government policy.
The main aim of the group is to improve:
- transparency across the strategic commercial asset portfolio within the bounds of appropriate commercial confidentiality constraints
- improve corporate knowledge and accuracy of the application of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002
