Social care: Expert Legislative Advisory Group
Overview
The Expert Legislative Advisory Group has expertise in the delivery of:
- social care
- social work
- primary and community health services
The group will use this expertise to aid the development of the National Care Service (NCS) legislation. The group will act as a sounding board and give advice to the Scottish Government. It will consider and discuss issues related to the NCS (Scotland) Bill.

We have selected members for their professional expertise and/or lived experience. Membership is based on the nature of the work and expertise required. It may flex for each meeting based on priorities.
