Residential Care Cross-Border Regulations Guidance Working Group
Overview
This group was established on 19 June 2025.
It will produce guidance that sets out what is required to adhere to the new cross-border regulations being developed and will include best practices examples to support Scottish partners and placing local authorities in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland.
The group will operate for a period of six months and the guidance, and any supporting materials, will be published in February 2026 alongside the new regulations.
