International Education Strategy Governance Group
Overview
This group provides oversight to the implementation of actions to deliver the International Education Strategy (IES) and to drive forward its commitments.
The role of the group is to:
- provide strategic oversight and guidance to ensure that the aims and objectives of the IES are met
- recommend and endorse approaches identified in the implementation plan and support its development and implementation
- identify links and partnerships that would support the delivery of the IES commitment to maximise the economic benefits of international higher education and provide recommendations to the minister as appropriate
