Child Welfare Reporter Working Group
Overview
This group was established in October 2024 to consider the work that needs to be done to implement the register of child welfare reporters under the Children (Scotland) 2020 (which modifies the Children (Scotland) Act 1995). The register will help ensure child welfare reporters are suitably skilled and trained and that quality and practice is consistent across Scotland.
The group will also consider other changes that could be made to improve the child welfare reporter system.
