Decrease in oats yield and production

In 2023 oats yield was 6.0 tonnes per hectare. Oats production was 158 thousand tonnes.

Although yield for oats fell by 4% compared to 2022, figures are close to the ten-year average (6.0 tonnes per hectare). Production fell by 7% compared to 2022. Estimates for oats continue to decrease over time against the ten-year average.
