Cereal and oilseed rape harvest - first estimates: 2023

Wheat yield and production expected to remain high
In 2023 wheat yield is predicted to be 9.1 tonnes per hectare. Wheat production is predicted to be around 980 thousand tonnes.
A predicted 2% decrease in yield is expected to result in a 2% decrease in wheat production compared to 2022. However, wheat production remains above the ten-year average.
