Our officials will monitor enquiries to SIETF@gov.scot and, if required, publish responses to common questions in the form of FAQ or clarifications during the competition window.

Agencies will continue to raise awareness of the competition, support stakeholder portfolios to access information and support prospective applicants. Application support clinics are available for prospective projects. Agencies that support the competition based on their remit and capacity are Knowledge Transfer Network, Scottish Enterprise, Highlands and Islands Enterprise, Zero Waste Scotland, Scottish Futures Trust and Scottish Environment Protection Agency.

Final application forms must be completed and submitted to SIETF@gov.scot no later than 5pm on the deadline day.

Applicants will be advised on initial outcome of their application within six weeks of the closing date, once a panel assessment has taken place. Applications successful at this stage will progress through a further due diligence process with an external contractor. It is expected that grant offers will be made approximately six months after the closure of the application window.

Subject to due diligence and approval, an offer of funding may be issued. On acceptant of grant offer terms and conditions the grant recipient must commit to producing a case study for knowledge sharing and dissemination. It will be made publicly available so should not include any commercially sensitive information. Modifications will be considered where confidentiality is an issue.
