The effective application of Test and Protect in the service will be an important means of preventing any spread of the virus. Services should ensure that they understand the Test and Protect process and how to contact their local Health Protection team, if required.

As above, as a minimum all services must collect contact details of all staff, supported people, unpaid carers and accompanying care workers who attend the day service setting, in line with Scottish Government guidance on Test and Protect.

Because of the range of measures identified in this guidance to prevent infection, staff and people attending the service do not require to be tested unless they show symptoms of COVID-19 infection or under the Test and Protect arrangements.

As above, services should engage with their local Health Protection teams for advice on infection prevention and control measures to help limit further spread of the virus.
