Coronavirus (COVID-19): guidance for businesses on offering support

Many businesses and other organisations are offering support for the ongoing effort to tackle the coronavirus (COVID-19) emergency. We have established a single point for contact to help prioritise these offers and direct them to where they will have most impact.

The need for support is varied but key areas might include manufacturing, medical equipment and supplies, infrastructure, transport and distribution.

Offer Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Anyone with PPE that meets the NHS standards can offer their PPE on the NHS Scotland Supply Offers Portal. Use this portal for all PPE offers, not just for the NHS.

All PPE for the NHS, social care services or other public sector services, must meet the NHS PPE standards which you can read on GOV.UK.

Other support offers

Businesses, third sector or voluntary organisations can offer to help with the response to coronavirus by completing an online form

If you’ve already sent an offer by email, you do not need to complete this form again.

You’ll be contacted as soon as possible if your support is needed.

Get help, share your ideas or volunteer

If you’re a member of the public who needs help or has an idea they would like to share, email cpe@gov.scot.
