Storm Arwen review recommendations update: June 2022
Update on recommendations made in a review into the response to Storm Arwen.
Next steps
The Storm Arwen Review published in January 2022 identified a range of lessons and recommendations for the resilience sector in Scotland.
Some of these lessons have already been learned, with effective solutions put in place. A wide range of work is ongoing and responders confirm that the majority of outstanding actions will be completed ahead of this winter, while a limited amount of other more complex work will continue in the longer term.
Given the range of ongoing work, we aim to provide a further update in October 2022. This will capture the results of the Scottish Resilience Partnership’s “Winter Preparedness Programme”, and will allow us to set out a clear position against all actions before winter.
