Housing to 2040: equalities position statement

Who will be affected?

Housing impacts on everyone and we are adopting a whole-systems approach in Housing to 2040. Making this vision a reality in the next 20 years will require action from the Scottish Government, public, private and third sector partners and the people and communities of Scotland. This approach has people living in homes at its heart and takes into account the place, environment and communities in which our homes, both new and old, rural, urban and island, are located. Housing to 2040 will, therefore, directly affect people of all ages, sex and backgrounds, living or with the intention of living in Scotland in future and across all housing tenures.
