Kill licence - Conservation Limits

A number of stakeholders are requesting clarification the methodology for calculating conservation limits (CLs) for their river. 

The probability of a district or SAC meeting its CL is determined using the best available information on salmon stocks, with full details on the methods used provided in the technical summary.  CL compliance is generally assessed by fishery district, with the exception of SACs.
