Community Planning Partnerships (CPPs) have provided the Scottish Government with a yearly return on their Early Years Change Fund activities for 2012-13, 2014-15 and 2014-15. The returns reported jointly on Local Government and NHS spending.
We commissioned independent research to summarise the returns and to better understand the impact of the Change Fund and the progress being made towards prioritising prevention and early intervention. You can view the research below:
Mark McDonald, Minister for Childcare and Early Years says:
‘I welcome the publication of this report which highlights the impact the Early Years Change Fund has had on early years services across Scotland. This report provides us with a unique opportunity to reflect on what the Fund has achieved and how best we can embed its legacy into early years services. It is great to see the range of examples of good practice provided by each Community Planning Partnership and the impact this has had on addressing local priorities, improving outcomes and making life better and brighter for children and families.’
