Mental Health (Scotland) Act 2015 - Parliamentary passage of the Bill
The Mental Health (Scotland) Bill was introduced to the Scottish Parliament on June 19, 2014. The Parliamentary Bureau designated the Health and Sport Committee as the lead Committee for this Bill:
The Health and Sport Committee took evidence on the Bill during Autumn 2014.

The Scottish Parliament published its Stage 1 Report on January 30, 2015. The Government provided its response to the report on March 27, 2015.
