This release is the final publication of Ukraine Sponsorship Scheme statistics by the Scottish Government. This decision has been made with agreement from the Office of the Chief Statistician following an assessment of the continued value in publication. Since the number of people in Welcome Accommodation has dropped significantly from its peak, and the situation has shifted from crisis management to a more stable state, along with lower user interest in the recent reports, it was decided that the statistics are no longer providing enough value to continue. However, we will keep engaging with users and monitoring public interest, especially given the rapidly changing global situation.
Official Statistics in Development are statistics which are published in order to involve users and stakeholders in their development and as a means to build in quality at an early stage.
While the data presented in this statistical release are still under development and subject to changes and corrections, it is being shared in the public interest and is reviewed for quality and published in accordance with the Code of Practice for Statistics.
