Information requested
Copies of all communications between Comhairle nan Eilean Siar and the Scottish Ministers including letters emails and notes of any meetings and telephone conversations between the two concerning the proposal for the SpacePort proposal at Scolpaig Farm North Uist now subject to the current planning application ref Application 21/00646 Construction of sub-orbital vertical launch spaceport, etc.

Searches of our systems have identified ten documents relevant to your request. These have been provided as a separate attachment to this email.
While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance we are unable to provide some of the information you have requested because exemptions under:
- Section 33(1)(b) – Substantial prejudice to commercial interests; and
- Section 38(1)(b) – Personal information of FOISA apply to that information.
The reasons why these exemptions apply are explained in the Annex to this letter.
