Approval of minutes from May meeting

The Panel approved the minutes and agreed to be published on the IRISR website.  

Independent Review of Inspection, Scrutiny and Regulation update 

The Chair provided an update to the Panel about the updated timelines of the review and publishing the final report in September.  

The secretariat provided an update in regard to questions raised by Panel members about impact assessments. The impact assessments are in draft format and will be updated after recommendations are accepted. Additionally, the secretariat confirmed an Island Impact Assessment has been completed.

The Chair shared an update of the key emerging themes from each chapter of the final report and an overview of potential recommendations.
