Approval of minutes from February meeting

The panel approved the minutes.

Update on independent analysis

The Chair of the Review thanked the panel for their feedback on the first draft of the analysis report.

The panel had a discussion on the draft report, focusing on elements such as evidence, language and accessibility.

Drafting the report

The panel had a discussion on drafting the report. Panel members contributed their knowledge and expertise in relation to technical and practical aspects of drafting the report.

No action points.

Looking at themes: Theme 4 - How will we know systems are working?

A discussion took place about theme 4 with panel members sharing their experience and expertise.

The panel considered the importance of providing individuals and their families with relevant information on social care support to enable them to make informed decisions.

The panel discussed the role, quality and accessibility of data in relation to the current approach to inspection, scrutiny and regulation of social care support and the importance of this regards the focus on continuous improvement within these processes.
