Social care - Self-directed Support improvement plan 2023-2027: monitoring, evaluation and learning framework
This monitoring, evaluation and learning framework explains how the Scottish Government and partners will measure progress of the plan by collecting evidence of the impact of activities and the story towards positive change.
Background
The SDS Improvement Plan sets out that the Scottish Government, COSLA and the National Self-directed Support Collaboration will work together to develop a flexible monitoring, evaluation and learning framework to measure the progress of the individual activities set out within the plan.
The principal goal of this monitoring and evaluation framework is to collect evidence of the impact of the activities set out within the Improvement Plan and to learn from this, so that we drive national improvement in the delivery of SDS. Put simply, this framework seeks to collect evidence of our story towards change to-date.
The learning arising from this work will form part of a wider suite of information being collected to drive and demonstrate improvement in the delivery of social care across Scotland, in line with the aspirations of the national care service.
