Scottish Welfare Fund Statistics: update to 31 March 2025
The annual update of Scottish Welfare Fund Statistics for 2024-25. This includes annual statistics on Community Care Grants and Crisis grants from 2013, as well as quarterly breakdowns from 2020.

There were 3,750 Tier 1 reviews for Community Care Grants, and 7,885 for Crisis Grants during 2024-25 (Table 55), both declining by 1% from the previous year. Just under half of decisions were revised at this stage during 2024-25 for both Community Care Grants (45%) and Crisis Grants (37%) (Table 56).
During 2024-25, around 84% of Tier 1 reviews for Community Care Grants were made within the 15 working day target, while around 86% of Tier 1 reviews for Crisis Grants were made within the two working day target (Table 59).
