Scottish Welfare Fund Statistics: update to 31 December 2025
The quarterly update of Scottish Welfare Fund Statistics for October to December 2025. This includes quarterly statistics on Community Care Grants and Crisis Grants from 2021 onwards.

During October to December 2025, decisions were made on 19,695 Community Care Grant applications with an acceptance rate of 52% (Tables 12 and 14, and Chart 6) and decisions were made on 61,150 Crisis Grant applications with an acceptance rate of 65% (Tables 15 and 17, and Chart 7).

This chart shows the time series of the rate of CCG and Crisis awards per quarter since April 2021.
Local authorities awarded 10,280 Community Care Grants, 1,445 (16%) more than October to December 2024 (Table 13, Chart 7) and 39,770 Crisis Grants, 4,190 (12%) more than October to December 2024 (Table 16, Chart 7).
