Scottish seabird conservation action plan: equality impact assessment

The Scope of the EQIA

As the plan does not actively exclude or target any groups or protected characters, instead having a focus on aiming to address the pressures currently facing Scotland’s seabird populations, this EQIA process, at this stage, is minimal. In addition to this, a Child Rights and Wellbeing Impact Assessment (CRWIA) and an Island Communities Impact Assessment have been undertaken. The plan includes both existing and potential future actions to be taken to achieve the Scottish Government's vision for thriving seabird populations. No new policy is being introduced at this stage.
