Note 1: Primary School Free Meal Registration: this is the number of P5-P7 pupils in the top 10% of schools ranked by the percent of pupils registered for free school meals, expressed for each authority as a percentage of all Scottish P5-P7 pupils in the top 10% (averaged over three years).
Note 2: Secondary Registered for Free School Meals: the same approach is applied except that pupils in schools ranking in the top 5% attract a weighting of 4, between 5% and 10% attract a weighting of 3 and between 10% and 20% attract a weight of 1.
Note 3: Source: Scottish Government Pupil Census 2018, 2019 and 2020.
Note 4: Primary and Secondary allocation shares of total are kept the same as in previous settlement years.
