Scope of invitation

Applications for this fund are now closed.

This competition invites Scottish industries to apply for financial support for feasibility and engineering studies to develop energy efficiency and deep decarbonisation projects for subsequent deployment. Separate guidance has been published for competition 1 to support the deployment of energy efficiency technologies.

This should:

  • help industrial companies build a pipeline of future deployment projects by supporting feasibility and engineering studies
  • address cost and risk reduction of either industrial energy efficiency or decarbonisation technologies

This support will provide financial assistance for up to 70% (micro businesses) or 50% (large businesses) of the total eligible costs of the feasibility or engineering study.
