Information supplied by local authorities in January 2012 which were provided following an audit of local authority activities in line with the actions contained within the Scottish Government's Literacy Action Plan.
Response
In January 2012 the Scottish Government undertook an audit of 5 local authority areas in line with the actions contained within the Scottish Government's Literacy Action Plan. You have previously received the information from North Lanarkshire Council.
The information received from West Dunbartonshire Council, City of Edinburgh Council and Fife Council is set out in the information attached.
While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the Scottish Government does not hold the information relating to the fifth local authority, Highland Council.
