Scottish Employer Perspectives Survey 2021

Summary of the purpose of the (EPS) Scottish Employer Perspectives Survey 2021.

This document is part of a collection

The Employer Perspectives Survey (EPS) is the principal source of evidence for employer views on recruitment of young people, work experience, people development and apprenticeships. The last Scottish EPS was undertaken in 2019.

The 2021 Scottish EPS will involve telephone interviews with a sample of 1,000 business establishments across Scotland. The survey will provide robust national estimates to feed into Scottish policy programmes including the Young Person’s Guarantee and Developing the Young Workforce.

The Scottish Government has commissioned IFF Research to deliver the Scottish EPS 2021. Business establishments in Scotland may receive a phone call from IFF Research inviting them to participate in the survey.

Participation of Scottish businesses in the survey will ensure that the Scottish Government and other organisations can help employers in Scotland by better understanding their needs in terms of skills, training and employment. Your participation and support is much appreciated.
