Easy read version of the consultation on proposals for Scottish Carer’s Assistance, a new Scottish benefit which will replace Carer’s Allowance, and be delivered by Social Security Scotland.

The consultation will be open until 23rd May 2022.
We will look at all the responses. We then then develop and agree a plan for Scottish Carer's Assistance, Carer's Allowance Supplement and Carer's Additional Person Payment.
