11. How will you communicate to children and young people the impact that the proposal will have on their rights?
The primary audience for the LUS4 is policy-makers and no specific impact on children’s rights has been identified at this stage. Therefore, there is no intention to communicate the impact of this strategy directly to children. As specific proposals are developed and the assessment reviewed we will consider what approach is best to communicate and engage with children, working with relevant related workstreams and policy areas. The CRWIA will be published on gov.scot so those children and young people wishing to access it can do so. We have, in so far as possible, tried to make the language and content accessible so those reading it can understand its content and the neutral impact decision.
