This business and regulatory impact assessment (BRIA) examines the potential costs, benefits and impacts of proposed changes to statutory charges for vehicle recovery, storage and disposal in Scotland.
7. Section 6: Implementation and Review
7.1 Implementation plans
Legislation is expected to come into force via negative SSI in June 2027 subject to the consultation process.
7.2 Post implementation review
No specific plans, however consultation asks how the fees should be reviewed in the future.
