Section 2: Impact Assessments
The Scottish Government has begun developing a range of impact assessments for this piece of work, informed through engagement with stakeholders. The purpose of these impact assessments is to help us to understand the potential effects of government policy on specific groups, including children and young people, island and mainland rural communities, business and equalities groups. This will then inform decisions about what changes should be introduced.
The assessments we are working on are:

- Child Rights and Wellbeing Impact Assessment
- Island Communities Impact Assessment
- Rural Assessment.
We are now asking for your help to make sure that we include all of the most relevant information so that our impact assessments are accurate.
