Neurological Framework funding: form and guidance

How to apply for round 3 funding to support the implementation of Scotland's Neurological Care and Support Framework.

Application criteria

Scotland is adjusting to new ways to access health and social care, harnessing new techniques and technology, alongside more traditional approaches. This presents opportunities to re-design clinically safe but more person-centred and faster pathways, and to explore innovative and more collaborative models of delivery.

All applications will be assessed against the following criteria:

  • clear demonstration of benefits and outcomes that meet the aims and commitments of the Framework overall and Commitment 9 specifically
  • collaborative and innovative proposals, including but not limited to:

o    collaborations across sectors
o    collaborations across multiple Health and Social Partnerships and/or Health Boards
o    projects supporting multiple neurological conditions or balancing needs for specialist services with more generalist care

  • proposals for long-term scalability and sustainability
  • clear measures to evaluate the project using measurable impact of change
  • capacity and capability to deliver the project within specified timescales
  • affordability and value for money

If you have any queries on the application process or your proposal, please contact
