National Transitions to Adulthood Strategy for young disabled people: islands communities impact assessment
National Transitions to Adulthood Strategy for young disabled people: islands communities impact assessment
6. Adjustments
It is not currently expected that delivery mechanisms and mitigations should vary in different island communities, nor is there a need to return to the consultation participants in respect of mechanisms or mitigations.
Island circumstances will be considered in the evaluation process once this is established.
At present, no island specific indicators or targets have been identified that require monitoring.
The next stage of implementing actions within the Strategy will allow outcomes to be established for measurement. However, it is expected that a Scotland-wide approach will be taken in the measurement of outcomes.
The Strategy will impact island communities in a positive way as it aims to improve experiences of transitions for all young disabled people in Scotland.
This ICIA will be published on the Gov.scot website, meaning that colleagues in policy development and service delivery will be able to consider the lessons learned in their own policy areas.
