8. Looking forward
We posed ourselves the question, if we have shifted the dial in three years’ time or by the end of the lifespan of the strategy at the end of year ten what would success look like?

‘By three years' time the cross-government working will be embedded as a ‘(mental) health in all policies’ approach. By year ten any person no matter their identity or intersectionality can confidently approach services for care and get the therapeutic input they need to thrive’

‘Thinking about the journey we’ve gone on in terms of mental health which includes improved literacy understanding and awareness. Mental health is now talked about quite openly. It would be great to see the same journey for suicide awareness with every person aware of one support group and one internet resource they can easily access or recommend’
