Appendix 1 – Waiting List Analysis Format

An analysis of the current waiting list can be presented in the following format to show which services are provided to meet local needs and which present the main waiting list challenges and the extent of particularly long waits. The range of services in the table should be tailored as appropriate to reflect local services / teams / waiting lists. Use of a ‘Traffic Light’ system is optional but can be useful to draw the reader’s attention to key services that are performing well or present a particular challenge.
