National Centre for Remote and Rural Health and Care: evaluation
The report is an evaluation of the National Centre for Remote and Rural Health and Care.
Chapter 3: Education and Training
Education and Training has been central to the National Centre’s inaugural phase, aiming to strengthen skills and professional development for practitioners in remote and rural settings. This work addresses persistent challenges such as limited access to tailored learning and professional isolation. By expanding flexible training opportunities and creating resources aligned to rural needs, the Centre sought to build workforce capability and resilience. This chapter reviews progress against targets and considers the impact of these initiatives.
