This is an easy read report from sessions Scottish Government held to review the Health and Social Care Standards. These sessions were part of our Co-design Partnership Programme.
Co-design sessions
The Scottish Government held 6 co-design sessions on the standards in 2025 and 2026.
People from across Scotland shared their experiences and thoughts. This included people from different backgrounds and communities.
These charities helped run the workshops:
- Next Chapter Scotland
- Sikh Sanjog
- Minority Ethnic Carers of People Project (MECOPP)
- Carr Gomm
- Deaf Blind Scotland
- Glasgow Disability Alliance
At the sessions, people shared:
- their own experiences of using the standards
- ideas about how we could make the standards better.
We had sessions online and in person to help more people take part.
