GDP Monthly Estimate: November 2025

Gross Domestic Product (GDP) statistics measure changes in the output of the economy. This is an Official Statistics in Development publication for Scotland.

Monthly estimates in this release have been revised to be consistent with GDP Quarterly National Accounts for 2025 Quarter 3, also published on 28 January 2026. There are revisions to quarterly growth rates (June, September, December, March) relative to the October GDP monthly release. For further information on these revisions can be found in the GDP Quarterly National Accounts publication. Industry weights and reference year have moved forward to 2022 from 2019 consistent with the Supply, Use and Input-Output Tables: 1998-2022

Monthly GDP incorporates the data that are available within two months of a period ending. After publication revised data and more robust data sources become available and are incorporated. As a result, previously published month’s data in monthly GDP will always be prone to revision. The revisions to the October monthly GDP may be seen in Table_R1 in the associated excel tables.
