Information request and response under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002.
Information requested
It's been recorded that Nicola Sturgeon as the Head of the SNP has siffoned of £17.6 billion pounds, which was meant to be used for Barnett Consequentials from Westminster designated for the NHS it was instead siphoned off by the Scottish Government to spend on other undisclosed projects. I wish to know as a Scottish Constituent what projects this money has been spent on, down to the last pound.
As this was public money, I think the right to know is paramount to a freedom of information act request.
Response
The draft Scottish Budget and Budget Bill each year is issued to the Parliament for scrutiny, debate and agreement.
The Government engage openly with Parliament on these spend proposals.
Work with the Parliament and its committees is undertaken to improve the information available to support its scrutiny of the annual budget.
During each financial year at least two budget revisions are presented to Parliament to agree in-year movements within the Scottish Budget and these are considered in detail with the Finance and Public Administration Committee.
Scottish Budget information is published annually. This can be found at the following link - Scottish Budget - gov.scot (www.gov.scot)
