Mental Health and Wellbeing Delivery Plan
The Mental Health and Wellbeing Delivery Plan sets out our priorities and actions to help us achieve our vision of a Scotland, free from stigma and inequality, where everyone fulfils their right to achieve the best mental health and wellbeing possible.
Setting the Context
Our Vision
Our vision, as set out in the Mental Health and Wellbeing Strategy (the Strategy), has not changed – we want to create a Scotland, free from stigma and inequality, where everyone fulfils their right to achieve the best mental health and wellbeing possible.
The outcomes and priorities in the Strategy (see Annex A) continue to drive the actions in this plan, along with the direction set by the Population Health Framework and Service Renewal Framework.
The delivery of this Plan will also align with the principles of GIRFE and GIRFEC, supporting joined-up, person-led and strengths-based approaches across health, social care, housing, education, justice and community services.
Like the Strategy, this Plan follows the Life Stage Model, aiming to deliver appropriate mental health and wellbeing support from pre-conception and the early years, through to older age, promoting intergenerational mental health and wellbeing.
