The Mental Health and Wellbeing Delivery Plan sets out our priorities and actions to help us achieve our vision of a Scotland, free from stigma and inequality, where everyone fulfils their right to achieve the best mental health and wellbeing possible.
Annex C – Inequality Action Table
The Scottish Government Mental Health Equality Evidence Report published in 2023 alongside the previous Delivery Plan highlights several cross-cutting themes on the causes of mental health inequalities which relate to multiple marginalised groups. The table below indicates where actions within the refreshed Delivery Plan will have an impact on these key themes.
Delivery leads and partners for actions within this refreshed Delivery Plan should give due consideration to the groups highlighted as most impacted by these themes based on evidence when scoping, planning and implementing these actions. The identification of groups most impacted has been based on the strength of the evidence currently available and identified in the report. Additional detail is available in relevant sections of the report and should be used as the basis of EQIAs for actions going forward.
