Details of specialism
I am interested in the potential impacts of underwater noise to various receptors. I have expertise in underwater noise modelling and environmental impact assessments.
Within the broad topic area my particular focuses currently include:
- providing advice to MS-LOT and policy on underwater noise issues
- contributing to on-going acoustic projects such as the East Coast Marine Mammal Acoustic Study (ECOMMAS)
- quantifying potential interactions of migrating salmon with marine renewable resources
