• Scottish Government likely has the necessary policy and legislation in place to allow CO2 storage licences to be granted
  • however, this is an evolving space
  • third party verification is being sought
• a licensing body will have to be chosen to act on behalf of Scottish Ministers
• regulatory bodies in Scotland and UK have well established policies, only once a site has been characterised sufficiently would we be able to determine the policies applicable
