List of working groups set up within the Communities Directorate: FOI release

Information requested

• A list of working groups set up within the Communities Directorate over the last 5 years, broken down by business year;
• For each working group, how long it lasted for;
• The number of members of the working group;
• Whether the working group has published recommendations for the Government; and
• Which of the working group’s recommendations were taken forward by the government

For the purpose of this request we have interpreted the Communities Directorate to be Director General (DG) Communities. DG Communities was established in March 2021 following a restructuring of the Scottish Government’s DG families.

Some of the information you have requested is available from www.gov.scot. Under section 25(1) of FOISA, we do not have to give you information which is already reasonably accessible to you. If, however, you do not have internet access to obtain this information from the website(s) listed, then please contact me again and I will send you a paper copy.

Also, in this instance we are unable to provide some of the information you have requested because an exemptions under section 27(1) of FOISA, information intended for future release. The reason why this exemptions applies are explained in the Annex to this letter.
