Unemployment estimates
The estimated unemployment rate for people aged 16 years and over in Scotland was 3.8% in April to June 2025. This is 0.5 percentage points down over the quarter and 0.6 percentage points down over the year.
The estimated UK unemployment rate was 4.7% in April to June 2025. This is 0.1 percentage points up on the quarter and 0.5 percentage points up over the year.
