Footnotes

1. £256m is the sum of total spend in 2023 based on data provided to National Procurement from Alcura, Lloyds Pharmacy Clinical Homecare, Sciensus, Pharmaxo, Polar Speed and HealthNet. The total NHS Spend figure (£293m) is provided by Public Health Scotland. The discrepancy between the two totals (£37m) is accounted for in spends with specialist services utilised from other providers (e.g. Baxter, Fresenius Kabi), as well as potential gaps in data capture or provision from providers to National Procurement.
