HM Inspector of Anatomy for Scotland: annual report 2021 to 2022
Annual report, written by Professor Gordon Findlater, His Majesty's Inspector of Anatomy for Scotland, providing a resume of duties undertaken in the role during the period April 2021 to March 2022.
Conclusion
Despite the situation that all anatomy departments found themselves in due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all departments appear to be functioning well under extremely difficult circumstances and conforming to the requirements of the Anatomy Act 1984 as Amended by the Human Tissue (Scotland) Act 2006. All Heads of Department and anatomy staff must be commended for the efforts they have made to maintain a high standard of teaching at this difficult time.
