Purpose

The meeting covered three substantive items:

  • a presentation from Scottish Environmental Protection Agency’s Regulator’s Pioneer Fund bid
  • an update from Falkirk Council on the Grangemouth Flood Protection Scheme
  • discussion around existing stakeholder engagement plan

  • representatives from Scottish Environmental Protection Agency presented an overview of their bid into the Regulator’s Pioneer Fund
  • the board agreed that a streamlined regulatory approach would serve as a useful mechanism for collaborative working
  • board agreed that the next phase of GFIB should focus on delivering engagement with industry
  • board discussed just transition as a key element of all GFIB business moving forward.
